I'm glad for a ukulele Robert Johnson song book. I love the Mississippi Delta blues and play several other of the old blues artist songs on the uke. So far I have only worked on "Kind Hearted Woman", but I like the bluesy chords and riffs. There are many CDs with all of Robert Johnson's original recordings on them. Every song in this book is covered on those CDs so that will help anyone that is unfamiliar with all of the tunes. I hope to be able to play them all some day.

This is much easier to play than I thought it would be, which is a delightful surprise. I'm having a great time learning riffs, and I sound so much better than I actually am. One of my favorite uke books.

Robert Johnsons music is inspiring to say the least, and with some of his greatest songs set up for playing on the ukulele is fun. This book has me playing along to the legends music on my uke. Robert Johnsons music is awesome, and great fun to play on the uke. Enjoy!

The arrangements seem odd to me. I'm a pretty good player and have used several books in the past. There is no CD to listen to and the fingering rerquired in these arrangements seems almost impossible to follow. Using the chords as a reference and picking up a few licks here and there is about the best you can expect. I listened to some of these tunes on youtube in order to get even close to what I needed to play.

I can't read the notes on my Kindles software. They are too small.

I suppose this book is what my daughter needed for her masters in accounting

I was very surprised at the size of the book. I am hoping that the print will not be too small to read. I was told by another student that the material is an easy read and was easy to understand.

This is the book that was used for the graduate level Thermodynamics class that I took. Like most textbooks, it isn't perfect. In this case, it is pretty lengthy, in fact it is 880 pages long. But it has a lot of black and white figures that are of high quality, and the individual pages are also fairly small. Bejan likes to take a few paragraphs here and there to explain things about thermodynamics research history and other relevant events in science and engineering history to explain how some of the fundamental thermodynamics concepts were originally contrived. Some of you will take interest in this, since this discoveries do indeed constitute rich history. For example, he talks about how as recently as a few hundred years ago, people thought that fire was essential for getting water to boil, because they just didn't know anything about thermodynamics. On the other hand, those of you who are looking to grasp the concepts of thermodyamics as quickly as possible because you are cramming for an exam or trying to get the homework done, or for those of you who want a quick reference book for thermodynamics, you may get frustrated with Bejan's looser, less technical/concise writing style.If you are taking a course that requires this book, and are concerned about what I've said, I would recommend that you consider getting another book in addition to this one that is more concise to use as quicker reference when you are in a hurry and getting impatient with Bejan's writing. If you are on a tight budget, you can even buy an outdated copy, and it should work fine. Fundamentals of Engineering Thermodynamics by Moran and Shapiro is one that might not be quite as advanced as this book, but it can help you to get through the basic and intermediate concepts of Thermodynamics more quickly than this book. The Moran and Shapiro book is currently on its 7th edition, so just go get the 4th or 5th edition, and it will be cheap for you.If you are taking Thermo right now, best of luck!!!

Written well enough on a very complicated subject. But I do wish that were more over-arching connections between the sections of each chapter.

Not all topics are easy to understand. Some are very advanced and some elementary topics are not included because you know them first before you read this book. Do some research on this author to gain more insight.

In our graduate level course, we were forced to use this terrible book. The committee, for some reason, approved this book even if the professors dislike it. The book problems are very wordy and the book does not contain all the information to complete the problem. After much outcry of my classmates, our professor decided to drop the book. We now use our professor's notes and problems.Please choose another graduate level textbook.

Used for graduate level work. Very confusing book. Not clear, maybe ok for mechanical engineers but not chemical engineers. Purchase at your own risk.

The book has too many printing omissions. For example, 'thermodynamics' reads 'the mod nam s' at many places and so on.

Its a textbook. So the subject matter is blah. Easy to navigate though.

Deep and true. I read this book in the 80's and still think of it today. It's a beautiful meditation on life whether you are a potter or a poet or just plain human.

This was one of the first books I ever heard of that relates to what is today being called "mindfulness", or awareness of one's state of mind and one's choice of things to think about it. Excellent, from a fine thinker and useful in that she was in touch with herself and life but was NOT a professional mind healer.

Love the philosophy of Mary Caroline Richards! Inspirational book for teachers.

Wow, Great Book & Video, I truly love Doug Lucas’ spirit, passion for Jesus and his laser focus on getting the job done.I am your classic over thinker and over studied with little to no results. As my boss always reminds me “Don’t confuse effort with results”. I have read Steve Smith’s Books, T4T, No Place Left 1 & 2, David Watson Book, Contagious Disciple Making, Francis Chan’s Book, Letters to the Church, and Radical by David Platt. I have reviewed the Zume training with couple of guys at church and have watched David Garrison’s training videos.Doug’s question on page 62 HIT ME HARD, “Are you willing to make that shift?” More Disciples is a quick read but full of resources, scripture references and details the disciple making process. This book is truly a laser focused manual for making more disciples.Chapter 11, Templates for Training, is the best part of the book for me because Doug gives clear direction and OPTIONS for implementation. Then in Chapters 12 & 13 gives practical and clear instructions and answers to hard hitting questions. More Disciples is a book I will re-read several times and I highly recommend it.

This thorough yet easy read is the one book you need to understand and participate in a disciple making movement. Of course it is God who works on hearts and draws people to Himself, but this book is a handy tool for being part of what God is doing in the world and making His name known among the nations.
