Pokémon has stood the test of time. From cartoons, cards to play the game with, PokeminGi, and a coloring book on how to draw them. This was perfect for my son, who us 30, and his son, who is 12. Love to find fun things for them to do together.

I am an art teacher. I regularly purchase "How to Draw" books for my classroom. This is the worst "how to" book I have ever come across. Step one of the majority of figures is already far too complicated for almost any child. I purchase two other pokemon drawing books that were much better than this. I can't figure out how this book earned 4 1/2 stars. I have never written a negative review for a book, but this book is just that useless.

I bought this for my sons 6th birthday. He loves it.... however it's a little more advanced than I thought it would be. So, I am the lucky one who gets to draw the pictures! I suck at drawing and my son chose the Gyarados for ME to draw. I have to say when I was done, my drawing looked pretty darn awesome! See picture below! I would definitely say this book is angled more towards 7 and older, just like the product details say!

The drawings do not go step by step, instead, it shows the drawing in large portions and assumes you can figure out how to get from step one: the outline of the characters head, to step two: the outline of the character's body. For someone who is new to drawing (10-year-old stepson), a step by step book, that shows it in smaller portions would be helpful.

I bought this 'scholastic" book. my daughter loves to draw and has talent at drawing. AND she loves pokemon! the book is thin, more like a magazine! 32 pages. THEY are 18 pokemon in it that u can learn to draw. The book itself is really cool. HOWEVER, I purchased this book NEW for my son for Christmas and it is falling apart. I don't have time to return for Christmas and I'm highly unhappy. I buy everything from prime and they dropped the ball on this one. Also it looks like this isn't even the original book, the pages look photocopied

this book is short but cute. my son did complain that 3 of the main pokemon characters were missing from the book (charmander, bulbasaur and squirtle). the book is a 2002 release so well before the pokemon go craze. in total there are instructions to draw 16 pokemon in the book, (pikachu, togepi, chikorita, meowth, pichu, houndour, lugia, cyndaquil, entel, ursaring, wobbuffet, croconaw, totodile, cleffa, igglybuff, gyarados) plus ash. some of the characters have very complicated step 1 drawings, imo. there are some easier ones, so this book would probably good for kids 8 and up that don't get easily frustrated. 31 pages long by scholastic.

My six almost seven year old loved this. And was able to draw many of the characters.

This book was not as step by step as most and it didn't show you how to draw the circles first and erase lines. Most of the beginning shapes were too much for my child it needs more of the mechanics of drawing included but my child like the different Pokemon you could draw with several of his favorites in the book. If they are obsessed with pokemon it will go over well but it is better if you have more experience in drawimg

Pretty basic book, not sure really why only 3 stars its just not as detailed as others I have purchased such as day hikes for creaky knees ..maybe its the way its set up ..I don't know. It serves its function; which is to familiarize myself with day hikes in the area I just moved to.

This book is terrific for those (like us) who may be new to an area and are looking for nice places to hike that aren't too far away and aren't overly difficult. Glancing through the book we've found several hikes that we plan to do this year starting next week.

"Best Easy Day Hikes SPOKANE/COEUR D''ALENE" (A Falcon Guide), which I spotted and bought on AMAZON, gives me all the information I may need to take some of the hikes mentioned. As a great-grandparent I need all the facts I can get and this book is thorough in what I need and what I am in for. Want to explore Northern Idaho and Washington, and see all I can. The Guide will be in my pocket all the way. Thank you for making it possible, now I know I can do this!

This is a great little that reveals some beautiful hikes in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area. The maps are good and the hikes are rated according to difficulty. My copy has a permanent home in my backpack. It's well worth the money.

Good hike book, easy to find out what hikes you want to complete. The levels were accurate, the Bowl & Pitcher hike was awesome!

This is a small book (easy to carry along) with some very nice hikes for the Spokane and CdA area. Descriptions on how to find the trailheads are very clear. The only additional feature I would have liked to see, would be directions to the trailheads for hikers not living in Spokane or CdA - we live south of Spokane, so I have to work a little to transcribe it to traveling from our area. The maps are good and the trail features are described extensively. The hikes are for all levels, but mostly on the easy side - which is fine with me, since I was mostly looking for pleasant day hikes that can be done mostly year round. The book will also tell you about the best season for the hikes, canine compatibility, other trail users and more helpful info. If you're living in the area or are just visiting, I think this little book will be very helpful.

Schwartz also states that even small e-commerce sites can compete with the "big boys" because the Internet provides a medium from which these sites can carve a niche market. Overall, this book is jammed with good ideas and case studies (though dated) that illustrate how each of his nine principles can be used to increase business. This book lays a good foundation for other books like Digital Darwinism or Net Success.

A previous review says this is all "common sense." Granted. But it is a structured packaging of important web business principles that nonetheless set off a few light bulbs in my head.An easy read, Webonomics urges the reader to rise above the babbling techno-noise and stay true to the business purposes for offering web sites.We have all experienced countless disappointments where a visit to a site left us unable to get information or interact effectively with the company behind the curtain. This book stresses the guidelines required to attract and keep users' attention: high quality information, self-service functionality, trust, and value-added rewards. There is a price to the programming and content development required to create that sort of interactive site, but if you don't, you'll just become some loose change on the floor of the web. Good book. Buy it.

I read Evan Schwartz's 'Digital Darwinism', which I find highly engaging . So I bought 'Webonomics' & find it equally enjoyable & pragmatic despite its earlier publishing date. Although some friends claim that the principals illustrated in the book are simply 'common sense', I find these 'common sense' to be highly concise & comprehensive.

Absolute must read for anyone trying to understand the ins-and-outs of doing business on the web. Chock full of great examples of what works, what doesn't, and why.In addition, a fantastic, enjoyable read for people who are just curious.
